I didn't care for Gacy too much...I do however love the one that was made for TV back in '92 starring Brian Dennehy.  It is called To Catch a Killer.  Dennehy may not look exactly like Gacy in real life, but he pulls it off brilliantly, very realistic scary stuff.  I also recommend seeing this one, it definitely left a lasting impression on me.  Man, I need to find it...I wonder if its on DVD?
 Another one that I thought was excellent was Ted Bundy, that was done very well too.  And of corpse the classic...Deranged. This is the closest to the real Ed Gein story that a movie has gone, so far.  There has yet to be a better Ed Gein story on film...and I'll fight anyone who says different!

What about Ed Gein (aka In The Light Of The Moon) with Steve Railsback? That's the best Ed Gein movie by far, most accurate too. The part where Ed cracks himself up by trying on different noses is a classic. Not to mention seeing Ed in his full skin suit.

Deranged is awesome too.

^I've seen it. It was pretty good. So was "The Deliberate Stranger" with Mark Harmon playing Ted Bundy. Another good made for tv flick was "The Atlanta Child Murders."
