Here is a list of 40 Brain Hammer approved zombie flicks.
*NOTE* I only listed the zombie flicks that I enjoy. If you are asking yourself "Hey, why isn't FILL IN THE BLANK on this list?" there's your answer. This list is my favorites only. Also, I am very picky about what a zombie flick actually is. I don't consider flicks with possessed people or infected people to be zombie flicks. That's why personal favorites of mine like Bloodeaters, The Children, Nightmare City, and Rabid are not on this list. To me - a zombie is a reanimated corpse...The Living Dead! Not living people infected with rage, radiation, etc.
40 Brain Hammer Approved Zombie Flicks:
The Beyond (1981) Braindead (aka Dead Alive; 1992) Bride Of Re-Animator (1990) Burial Ground (1980) Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things (1972) City Of The Living Dead (1980) Creepshow (1982) - specifically Father's Day & Something To Tide You Over Dawn Of The Dead (aka Zombi; 1978) Dawn Of The Mummy (1981) Day Of The Dead (1985) Dead & Buried (1981) The Dead Pit (1989) Deathdream (1972) Dellamorte Dellamore (aka Cemetery Man; 1993) The Fog (1979) Ghost Galleon (1973) The Grapes Of Death (1978) Hell Of The Living Dead (1980) Horror Express (1972) House By The Cemetery (1981) Land Of The Dead (2005) Let's Scare Jessica To Death (1971) The Living Dead At Manchester Morgue (aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie; 1974) Messiah Of Evil (1972) Night Of The Living Dead (1968) Night Of The Living Dead (1990) Night Of The Seagulls (1975) Oasis Of The Zombies (1982) Re-Animator (1985) Redneck Zombies (1987) Return Of The Evil Dead (1973) Return Of The Living Dead (1984) Return Of The Living Dead Part II (1988) Return Of The Living Dead 3 (1993) Shock Waves (1976) Tombs Of The Blind Dead (1971) Zombi 2 (aka Zombie; 1979) Zombi 3 (1988) Zombi Holocaust (aka Dr. Butcher M.D.; 1980) Zombie Nightmare (1987)

Oasis Of The Zombies (1982) Really? I don't think I could ever subject myself to that film, ever again. NightmareManiac

I like Oasis Of The Zombies for some odd, inexplicable reason. I know it's not a great flick, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Nazi zombies.
Messiah Of Evil fucking rules. I've featured that one in my picks from the crypt column twice. I'm really into that movie. I've watched it countless times.
Never heard of The Corpse Eaters, but with a nmae like that it must be good.

Number 1 Worst Zombie Movie Ever goes to...
HOUSE OF THE DEAD
BURN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Idk if this was the worst zombie movie ever but it was terrible. The bad acting didn't bug me as much as the game footage they spiced in and towards the end when everyone is fighting zombies and they all start posing and fighting as though they are fucking marines. AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

10) NotLD: 3D (2006) - I enjoyed this movie despite the terrible acting. Go Sid Haig!!! 9) Land of the Dead (2005) DotD (2004) 7) Return of the Living Dead (1985) 6) Day of the Dead (1985) 5) NotLD (1968) 4) Fido (2006) 3) Shaun of the Dead (2004) 2) DotD (1978) 1) NotLD (1990) Savini is an amazing director and did well with Romero's classic.

I have to agree with Larry on this...plus there are just way other mediocre zombie films that are better than NOTLD3D...
Biohazard Dead Meat ..shit even Flesh Eater was better.
