I am almost positive that Burnt Offerings and Let's Scare Jessica to Death were NOT made for Television, although NBC did premiere Offerings on their network (about 2 years after its theatrical release). That was just based on cursory research. I have a great book at home that has all of the made for tv movies and mini-series listed with their original air date...
However, Burnt Offerings was directed by the Made for TV King Dan Curtis, and it does certainly play like a TV Movie... it's very creepy in a very quiet way... Just the way I like 'em.

I knew that Let Scare Jessica To Death wasn't because I saw that in the theatre. But everything I have ever read, said that Burnt Offerings was, maybe they are wrong, I also bought my DVD out of the "made for TV" section! |

What I saw was that it came out in 76, but premeired on NBC in 78... I'm kinda watching Night of Dark Shadows right now while on the internet. Maybe not a TV movie, but it was a spin off of Dark Shadows! House of Dark Shadows is better.
