An anthology, if you don't know, is a film that usually has a couple different unrelated stories tied together with a wrap-around story (i.e. People sitting around a campfire)

Mine, in no particular order, based on the ones that I have actually seen:

Night Terror (Fun low budget 80's cheesefest, the story with the carnival barker is the best)

Creepshow (Duh)

The Offspring (a.k.a. From a Whisper to a Scream...gotta love Vincent Price, plus it's actually a pretty brutal flick)

Trick r Treat (One of the best modern anthologies I've ever seen)

Amusment (Another good modern one, possibly the best wrap-around story ever conceived)

Trilogy of Terror II (I've never seen the first, but I do love the tikki doll in this one, the big rats are fun too)

Tales From The Hood (The original "urban" anthology, creepy dolls, yes! The mind fuck segment near the end most people couldn't pull off if they had an hour and a half to do it)

Campfire Tales (The '97 version not the one with Gunnar Hansen, I've never seen that one, but this one is cool.  The story with Glen Quinn where he removes the chicks necklace and her head falls off has always stuck with me)

Twilight Zone: The Movie (Come on, this one kicks ass!  The gremlin on the plane and when the kid throws his "sister" into the cartoon world?  Classic)

After Midnight (One of the most offbeat anthologies I've ever seen, but aside from the weak wrap-around the film hits hard, 80's style hard. The story about the crazy guy with the killer dogs with Penelope Sudrow from ANOES 3 is so fuckin' sweet!)

Honorable Mention

Snoop's Hood of Horror (Just an excuse for a bunch of kick ass people to come together and make a fun, gorefest of a horror anthology)

Creepshow 2 (Number 3 is a definite no go, but this one really stands along side the original as a fun horror anthology.  The crazy blob thing harassing the teens on the raft is such a great segement)

I didn't see a lot of these. I like Tales From the Crypt, Tales From the Darkside, Trilogy of Terror and Creepshow 1 and 2.

Necronomicon almost got an honorable mention from me, but I just had more fun with the other ones.  Actually, I haven't seen most of the flicks on your list Dave, I'll have to start tracking them down.  For some reason I've always wanted to see Deadtime Stories...has anyone ever?  Details?

Oh, TRICK R TREAT is one of the best anothology movies I have seen in a long time. And to think when I first saw it on pay-per-view a year ago, I hated it. I LOVE it now.  Grin
