Ten favorite films.  Any genre.  Any kind of order.

Granted it's not the most original idea in the world, but it's a dandy git-ta-know-ya device if I ever saw one.

1. GOODFELLAS
2. THE APARTMENT
3. DOUBLE INDEMNITY
4. TAXI DRIVER
5. CITY LIGHTS
6. VERTIGO
7. SEVEN SAMURAI
8. DR. STRANGELOVE OR: HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE BOMB
9. APOCALYPSE NOW
10. CHINATOWN

Stop laughing. You know I was an Eng Lit major. I read Victorian novels and Romantic poetry, so period flicks are one of my "things".

I am probably the only person who didn't get the point of Reservoir Dogs. Didn't care for it. Only liked Madsen dancing and cutting the guys ear off.

Form Dusk Til Dawn - I have seen that several times and still cannot figure out if I like it or not. Seems like 2 movies mashed together. First part is the guys hiding and serial killing and was demented, then the Second part is a goofy vampire flick w/ people running around with squirt guns.

Cementary Man lost my vote because they didn't market it correctly. They called it a Zombie Love Story and was way off. I literally thought this was a romantic film, but uhhh, he set her bed on fire! I will rewatch it in a better frame of mind.

Lord of the Rings, tee hee

I like the Westerns though. Nice add.

I can't do anything right with you can I Molly Sad

Lots of people don't like Reservoir Dogs, you aren't alone there. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who still likes it.  I like movies that focus on the bad guys for some reason, so this is my cup of tea.  Add to that the witty dialogue, it's a classic to me.  It's a performance driven film....I think of it as 12 Angry Men with gangsters.

Cemetery Man......yeah watch that again.  It's a love story but it's a weird weird one.  He kills the woman he is in love with....and he snaps.  Between killing her and then having to take out the zombies, poor old Dellamorte just freaks the smurf out.  Keep in mind that all the women we falls in love with are played by Anna Falchi.

From Dusk Till Dawn was meant to be a grindhouse flick....a b-movie with an a-list cast.  I find it fun.  I can watch it over and over.

Why don't you like Lord of the Rings?  Too dorky?

Nah, I like you. Calm down.

I think what initally irritated me about Reservoir Dogs was the opening conversation about never tipping a waitress. 20% is standard for me and if I get great service, I give more. Tarantino's comment bothered me...

I will rewatch Cemetery Man. There were parts I liked, just none of them involving the girl. When they kissed or had sex at the beginning, it didn't make any sense to me. And I still hate the bed on fire scene. Really bothered me and it wasn't even graphic. I just felt like he totally gave up on her completely and every time she is reincarnated, he screws it up somehow.

Didn't Gnaghi throw up and a cute chick? I loved that part. And the dead guy on a motorcycle was cool. Girl: "No, please don't! He's only eating me! Mind your business! I shall be eaten by whoever I please!"

I don't really like fantasy faery stuff like Lord of the Rings. That is the only movie I ever went to the bathroom in the middle of a movie at a theater. I like Peter Jackson, but prefer Dead Alive or Bad Taste.

To be fair, there was only one there (Mr. Pink) who was against tipping.  Everyone else was against him.  Keep mind these guys refer to black people as niggers and see nothing wrong with shooting someone who gets in there way.  There is a lot in this movie to offend.

Well it is like a four hour movie!  I can rarely make it through a 90 minute movie without having to drain the main vein.  I envy you.
