Ok name off your top ten fave bad asses. They can be heroes, villians, anti-heroes, so long as they are bad ass. Any genre or format is fine. Videogames, comics, movies, TV shows. Feel free to put your reasons why you like them if you are so inclined.
In no order:
1) Captain Spaulding -- "The Devils Rejects" I love the Captain. A mean and nasty son of a bitch. With just a look, he can intimidate you. He is not someone to be trifled with. An amazing, psychopathic, redneck clown. This guy scares OTIS. Nuff said.
2) Terry Tsuguri -- "The Street Fighter" movie series. Takes no shit, does any job for money, but will beat the holy shit out of you if you cross him. Has his own brand of honor. Ripped the balls off of a rapist with his bare hands and wiped the blood off on the dudes drawers.
3) The Man With No Name. I shouldn't have to explain this to you.
4) Jules Winnfield. Again, I shouldn't have to explain this to you.
5) Peter -- "Dawn of the Dead" original. Uber-cool, keeps his head under pressure, and a great marksman.
6) Dr. Who. Probably not someone you'd expect to call a "bad ass", but I think he fits quite nicely. A fun loving, time traveling, alien genius who strikes fear into the hearts of Daleks. As a side note, there is a rape/revenge film with Daleks in it.
7) Aragon -- "Lord of the Rings". An excellent fighter, tracker, strategist. Courageous and noble, straight up putting his boot up evil's ass.
Blade. Please ignore part 3 and the TV show. Vampire hunting bad ass, dresses cool, stoic, takes no shit. Beat up Ron Pearlman.
9) Pinhead -- "Hellraiser" series. His presence is undeniable. He steals every scene he is in and commands power. The Dark Prince of Hell. He will tear your soul apart.
10) Kratos -- "God of War" series of videogames. Goes on an amazing bloody quest for revenge. Tears down his enemies and allies alike with equal disdain. Can destroy anything in his path. I should have put him at number 1.
