Ticks is badass for a lot of reasons, but mainly because of Carlton.

Oh and SWF, Final Terror and Trick or Treat are on DVD.

Cocnerning that FINAL TERROR dvd, the supposed legit release that came out years ago? Yeah, I bought it, got rid of it, once I saw how bad the transfer was. I mean the night scenes were terrible. Couldn't see a damn thing, all grainy. If I didn't know better I'd say they used a boot for it.

TRICK OR TREAT has not official been released on DVD in the Americas. That's a bootleg. Supposedly, FLESH WOUND VIDEO has an anamorphic widescreen version of it. Gotta get it some day, too. Not that I have amything against bootlegs. Love bootlegs when it comes to movies that aren't on legit DVD. n

No, shit?! Wal-Mart sold it?! Well, that's odd, like fucking odd! I just checked out their site and they have no such flick. Did a legit release escape my attention? I gotta go rethink some shit now.

Love Ticks but I prefer the name INFESTED. Clint Howard is great, Im..inFESTED!!!   The same copy of Trick or Treat that is pictured in another post. coulda been a coupla years ago. I remember watching the Final Terror on cable and you couldnt see shit either so maybe that is just the way it is like Humongous.

I got mine a few years ago from somewhere like Walmart (probably Best Buy) too. I don't remember where exactly but I do remember it was cheap.

Me too.  The picture I posted is the exact copy I found in the $5 bin at Wal Mart like 5+ years ago.

Oh, and yes, that Final Terror DVD is shitty, but Final Terror is a shitty movie.  Most of the night scenes in that film are shot day for night and the scenes that aren't are 100% unwatchable.  It would be nice to see a decent DVD transfer, but that isn't going to raise the bodycount/gore quotiant any or make up for the fact that the film has one of the coolest, most under-used "slashers" of all time.  It's a dud, not even that awesome opening scene or the fact that Daryl Hannah is in it can change that.

Psychos in Love was released on DVD IN 2009. I've seen it at Fry's. I remeber watching Ticks on Sci-Fi channel when I was a kid and laughing when I saw Carlton as a tough street kid.

I dont. Is this a hospital movie? If it is, this is another genre that has evaded my collection. No Hospital Massacre, no Visiting Hours, no FUCKING MANITUO midget indian shaman bursting out of possessed bitches backs.  Angry

I would kill everyone on this board for an Uncut DVD release of Visiting Hours.  I bought a VHS a while back from a video store in Florida that was shutting down only to discover later that I had purchased the R Rated version.  Michael Ironside is the man and he delivers like no other in that flick but with all the choppy cuts in the R Rated version it's almost unwatchable...yep, would definitely kill for an Uncut version.

Oh and I'm expect my VHS copy of Ticks in the mail any day now...YEA!
