Here's the cover of my novel coming out. It's about four teenage girls that start killing people in
their small town. Book ain't no joke. The reaction from people after they read it is insane. It's the kind of thing I'd never show my mother.
Gonna be out very, very soon (Aborted comes first).

Haha well it is a Giallo Wil, I would love to crumple up the corners and make it look really old and worn and used.

I'm doing EVERYTHING myself nowadays, no distributors, no publishers. I'm my own damn company now. No damn middle men. I got so much stuff on the backburner I been waiting to put out. It's just time.

I'm not sure how to promote a book though, movies are pretty easy, send out screeners, make trailers, put up pictures...a novel is a whole new ballgame though.

The best thing about writing a novel as opposed to a movie is I'm limited when I make a movie in every way possible, from locations to actors to f.x, If I want a scene in a school that takes a ridiculous amount of preparation...writing a book though...there are no limits at all. It's very freeing.

Just send out PDF copies for review. However, self-published authors are hated and ignored for some reason. You should hit up Solis who used to post here for some tips. His self-published zombie book did well.

Yeah I'm aware of the stigma that comes with being a self published author. If I can get some decent reviews under my belt that always helps. I think the one thing I got going for me is folks know me, I already got a little reputation around.

I'm not expecting to get rich though, I just want my stuff out there for folks who want it. But it is a story I love to death, the people who have read it love the shit out of it, I'm thinking of putting up some chapters, maybe some random chapters from later on in the book?

Allright, I know Will says you guys hate to read and have the attention spans of 8 years old, but I'll put up...what...the first 3-4 chapters in the next few days? Even though, you know, this is a novel and it does take a bit to get rocking and rolling, but hell...why not?

I'm working on uploading this now. I have to convert it to PDF but everytime I do the chapters get all messed up. I'll figure it out.

I also realized I didn't really go into my writing background much, but WAY before movies there was writing for me, it's my first love, I've gotten published in Flesh and Blood, Bare Bones, and came DAMN close to getting published in Cemetery Dance, I've written movies for tons of internet sites, Diabolical-Dominion when they were still around, the short lived 1313 horror mag. If the movie making wouldn't have come along, I would still be working on it 100%. It's my first passion, not just some side thing I do. It's why the writing in my movies is always so good, it's cause that's what I do man.

Got my proof copy today! Should be available for sale very soon. I'll be posting sample chapters and stuff soon, but all I can say is this: It's good folks...it's really, really good.People have shed tears because of the stuff that happens in this book, it's a bloody rollercoaster ride, a trip to hell and back and I promise, if you read it, you'll never forget it. If people say such good things about my movies...imagine what I can do with no budget and no restrictions.
