I don't know man, I keep trying to tell people, chances are, if you didn't like one of my movies, you won't like any of them. I mean, while they're all very different with their stories and characters (etc etc), they're all kind of the same style. Those people that like them, really like them, those that don't, just don't. Maybe if I actually get...you know...the things normal filmmakers have they can get passed all the bad effects and whatnot (then people will be eating their words) until then though, I pretty much just advise them to stay away.

You should be hyping it up. Look, the cross in the head is better than most of Cold Blooded, and the speaking parts in the trailer sound better. I gotta agree with Larry, and his friend Mark, the sound can really ruin a movie. Fuck man, I bought the movie didn't I? That at least shows I had hopes for it.

Hype is a funny thing and can backfire pretty fucking quick. I've been doing this for a long time now, I made Cold Blooded...like 5 years ago i think...and it split ppl pretty hardcore. The crowd that loved Bleed hated it because it wasn't as smart and you didn't have to think during it.

I mean look, don't get the wrong idea...I LOVE my goddamn movies, the barn shootout in Cold Blooded, the scene in the alley with Cody slamming the board through the wolf's head after he gets his eyeball gets ripped out, the rooftop chase, Cody hanging out the car window blasting the wolves off of it, the chick getting torn in half, I love the way after the first half hour the movie just books...no needless talk...no damn love story...just running and shooting and car chases...and death. if I had the BUDGET to do the movie the way I wanted...pfftthhhtt. Even still though. I have nothing but love for Cold Blooded and so do a lot of other people...

But again, some people are going to watch it and go..."The fuck IS this shit suppose to be? This is horrible!" and others will watch it and go, "HA! Go Warren!"

That's just how it goes.

I'm not going to sit here and say, "Pfftthhhtt my movies are the BEST movies EVER made and you're crazy!"  Because there's always someone out there who just isn't going to like it...that's just reality...and it's cool.  I've been doing this long enough to know when people watch one of my movies and the first thing they say is, "Those effects SUCK.." well buddy, you're in for a rough time...

My own personal opinon about The New Girls at this time (and we've got three measly days of filming left!!) is this-

It's got a much different pace than my other movies. I usually like to keep all my scenes under 6 minutes...this one has two scenes that push the 15 minute mark.

It's got some of my favorite bits of dialouge.

It's got my favorite acting ever...the crew just went above and beyond, Justin is awesome, Cody and Kim are heartbreaking and Liz...Liz is pure evil and hatred wrapped up in that beautiful little package.

And the last half is just 100% insanity. So much unexpected stuff happens with the characters, it's very twisty and turny.

My best movie? Opinions always vary. Some love Bleed, some dig Cold Blooded, I'm more leaning towards The Last Battelground, for whatever reason chicks love Bloodgod...but this one...I've lost all perspective on it at this point in time.

Why don't you try to finally get a budget for one of your films?

We didn't have a budget for Pleasures of the Damned.  We just set out to make the worst movie EVER, but DAMN you Sonny, you beat us with Cold Blooded!   
Isle of the Damned had a "little" more behind it...so we eased up a bit on the constant "intentional" inconsistencies and improved the gore.  Pleasures of the Damned will be re-edited and an official DVD release is in store for the near future...I think both versions will be included?

Don't worry Wil...sooner or later all my movies are going to get out there...and they'll get a nice little following...and then the money people will take notice.

And you don't worry either Andrew...even if I do get a budget I won't turn into a fucking Alexandra Aja, selling out making bullshit like Mirrors. That's kind of the reason I want to make it in the business MY WAY, sneaking in through the side door, no studio telling me what to do, no fucking compromise.  You'll always be able to see one of my movies and go: "That's a Sonny movie..."

And that's why I still have hope for The New Girls or Last Battleground. I assumed it was an earlier film and that gradually the effects get better, kind of a learn as you go thing. That doesn't quite sound right, but I think you can understand what I mean. Kinda like with athletes, you get better the more you play and learn different techniques.

Aw, it's like I always say, for every 10 ppl that like what you do, 20 are just going to think it's horrible. Nothing I can do but keep on trucking and doing my thing. I never want anyone to not like one of my movies, but hell, it's going to happen, can't get bent out of shape about the shit, just makes me want to do better next time.

Every movie I make learn more, I'm always trying to challenge myself, I don't wanna repeat anything I've done before.

No more monster movies for awhile, TLB was my last big huge ridiculous epic for a while, mainly because it just about killed me...and I did everything I wanted to do, I'm just done with the monsters for a little while.

The New Girls is completely different in every way from everything I've done and The Complex...The Complex is just plain nutty and after that, I think I'm going to lean in a more 100% reality direction.

I've got so many ideas for movies I'm sure I'll die before I get to make them all...

Haha, tommorrow I'll have an update, don't ever think because I don't update it means I'm not filming or working, if I don't update, it usually means I'm TOO damn busy to update, but I'll get on here tommorrow with more pics and a general fill in on what's been going on.
