http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwCrZ4kIoEoFirst two minutes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW71MxY5fjAI made Cold Blooded for all the people with A.D.D. that couldn't make it through Bleed.

Where Bleed takes it's time to tell it's story and really builds up to it's moments I wanted Cold Blooded to be fast and vicious, when the kills come they come out of nowhere, when people die it's sudden and shocking. Characters who I've built up die without finishing their storylines...because that's what happens when you die...whereever your life was going...stops right there.

The thing I always loved about the original King Kong is that it does this great thing where they get all the talking out the way in the first 20 minutes, after that I don't think there's more than 5 lines of dialouge, it's just running and destruction.

I took the same route here, you get all the character stuff out the way, establish who everyone is, then, for the last half, you just let loose.

As for the werewolves, well, I went back and forth on that. For a while there they weren't even going to be werewolves, I designed these crazy looking red monsters with spikes all over their backs but in the end I just decided, shit why not? It's not a TRUE werewolf movie, this town could've been occupied by any kind of monsters, but in the end, I decided to go that route.

My favorite werewolf movie ever is The Howling, best werewolves EVER. I think An American Werewolf has it beat with it's transformation scene, but so far as I'm concerned The Howling has the baddest wolves ever,m and even to this day they still haven't been beat. I love the big ears on them and everything.

When I draw werewolves I always draw them with those really huge rabbit ears, so when I designed these, I always had them with the big old ears. We never establish them as werewolves, the characters in the movie are too busy running and shooting and dying to really stop and figure it out, but I admit there are times when they look like teddy bears

but I could never find the right kind of fur. I worked with what I had.

Still though, I think Cold Blooded is a great little flick. It's full of action and there's a nice big twist at the end. I just really wanted to see if I could do something actiony, with lots of shooting and a car chase, shit, we even have a roottop chase, and tons of crazy shit. Considering what I had to work with...( NOTHING) I think it rocks pretty hard.
