There is a Serial Killer Encyclopedia that is really amazing.  I checked it out from my library this past spring.  It has all kinds of shit in there.

That is hilarious!  I'm reading something about the "Perfect Victim' on crime library.  That's terrible!  Not really a serial killer though, but still harrowing and fascinating.

your right it's not really a serial killer I didn't think of that, oh well. It's a good book

poor Andrew lives in a fort built out of....ready....the guy who died next door sheet and a spider-man shower curtain, with a love seat and book shelf in front of it. it's totally earthquake proof.

i wish i was making this up but i'm not

You need to take a picture of that and put it on the front page because that's hilarious!

Yeah I noticed the damn google ads!  That shit is distracting, but I understand the need for them.

It wouldn't be so bad if they were at the top of the screen or something but after the first post of a thread it's kinda jarring.  At least for me, but I mean I do know they are a necessary evil.

Bring on the pics!

Here's a few that I like:

Fiend, Depraved, Deviant and Bestial by Harold Schechter are great books.

The Devil's Knot deals with the case of The West Memphis 3 and is one of the best books I've ever read.

The Confessions of Henry Lee Lucas is an excellent book.

If you can find it, Dracula Was a Woman: In Search of the Blood Countess of Transylvania is the only good book about Elizabeth Bathory ever published. It debunks an awful lot of rumors about her so people who want to live in the fantasy world that she bathed in victims blood or killed her husband they may want to avoid that one.

The A-Z Encyclopedia of Serial Killers is a good starting point and they just released an updated edition of this in June.

I have a lot of catching up to do with my reading.  So if I come across more I'll post it.

Yeah it is!  The one I looked over was from back in 2000, I believe, and it had a truck load of information.

I have one called the Encyclopedia mof Modern Murder that is very interesting. A great detailed documentation of mordern American murder.

But I must say the most intriguing of all serial killers is the first and foremost Jack the Ripper........
