The Necronomicon/Alhazred by Donald Tyson

Has anyone here read either of these?  I saw Alhazred in the damn book store and I looked through it a few months ago.  The guy was talking about holding his prick while he pissed in a pot or some shit and I was like "this don't seem very Lovecraftish at all".  But I skipped a head a bit to where he meets Nylarhotep and that seemed cool.  And I read that the Necronomicon was really cool, so I want to check it out.

[Pyramid Head]

It looked kind of boring and un-Lovecraftish, so I never picked it up.  Write up a short review if you have the time, I'll read it.
