I remember The Yattering and Jack being one of my favorites. Midnight Meat Train was really cool too, so I'm hoping the movie serves it good. Candyman was in there too if I remember correctly which was a great read. I remember bees freaking me out after that. I literally did read most of the Books of Blood in Saturday school in high school. Yeah, I was bad kid. Those were good times. I have to buy another Book 1 though because I had Clive sign it for me when he was promoting Imajica, and I don't want to get it all bendy anymore then it is already.

The Yattering and Jack was made into an episode of Tales From the Darkside. It starred Phil Fondacaro as the Yattering. Great episode!

Well I searched for that VHS for maybe 10 years. I would find volume 2,3,4, _ 6,7,8 at video stores BUT NEVER FUCKING NUMBER 5. Then I finally find it at some old dusty video store in San Francisco convince the owner to sell it to me and it is just Phil with some fucking horns glued to his head...! Like I said in the "review" I should have known better but was a bit disappointed. What about the episode with Seth Green? That one is funny.

Tales From the Darkside is (was  ) my favorite TV show. I liked most of the episodes...there were some pretty lame ones though. Overall, great series. I have a craptacular bootleg DVD of all of the seasons, but they look terrible. I need to get another boot, preferably from the people that I got the Complete MONSTERS series from, that looks decent and the episodes are in order, with a complete list of episode titles. Is there a Tales From the Darkside thread? If not, there needs to be one. Sos we can talk about Tales From the Darkside allllll the time.  |

Man this thread got stuck on oiled midgets for a while...scary. My fav was Rawhead Rex, but probably just because the movie got me started on the series.
