I recommend my novel PERSONAL DEMONS because it kicks ass. You can order it from Amazon for $15. Right now, Gary and Molly are fighting over who gets to review the last trade paperbacksI owned, and when one of them is bloody and unconscious the other will post their comments!

I could have swore Royce said he was reviewing it himself and I thought WIL reviewed it too. How about everyone at HYB can take turns reviewing it? Ahaha, that is pretty much what happened with EVIL ALIENS.

Oh then I can review it then. I seemed like there were three people trying to review it at once, so I left it alone.

I read this about a year ago, but I really like it alot.... SImon Clark's "Deaths Dominion". Really cool modern Frankenstein/Revolt of the Zombies kind of story. Highly recommend it.

As far as good horror reads go, I can't recommend House Of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski enough. It was a book that was impossible to put down. The book actually succeeded in scaring me, and that's some sort of feat. It all involves a house that measures 3/16" bigger on the inside than on the outside. Shit gets real crazy from there on out. Top shelf.
As far as others, Off Season by Jack Ketchem is a prize of a book. Just get the unedited version, as the regular one is much more tame.
For a good horror laugh, check out The Stupidest Angel by Christopher Moore. It's about a town having a Christmas celebration that just happens to be invaded by zombies. It's funny, though. I swear it!

Thomas Tessier "Rapture" This book was first published in 1987. Its about a man who has been in love(?) with a woman he has known since highschool. They were friends back then, but he never had the nerve to ask her out, and since then he has moved away to California to follow his career. Nearly 20 years later he is brought back to his home town in Conneticut because his father has passed away. This brings up memories of the past, and in turn his highschool crush comes to mind....so he decides to try and look her up so that they can reminisce about old times. And he find her he does. Sounds like it might be a pretty typical story, right? Well, its one of the most disturbing novels that I've ever read. I will definitely be seeking out other novels by Mr. Tessier. Leisure books is going to be releasing his 1979 novel The Nightwalker, which is a werewolf story...and I'll certainly be reading that one. Highly recommended.
