I didn't realize they were that desperate to get people to read the book! I thought it was doing well? 
But I agree, this is way outside the box, and doesn't belong in Buffy's character. It just makes her less... hmmm... you know what? I get the feeling this is a prelude to something. Season 8 probably kills Buffy. That's the only thing I can see them doing to really make this act of carpet munching plausible. Otherwise, Buff is taking a swan dive in character and likeability. She's been a complete mess, and I can't stand her. Shit... I'm gonna say it , and say it proud...

I read somewhere that Season 8 is going to run something like 40 issues then they will start season 9, so we have a lot of time for the arc to even get going and finish. I say ehhh what is the big deal she is like 20 why couldn't she "experiment" a little. Anything is better than banging Riley. He died right?

eh..  they played the lesbian card already with Willow & pretty much everyone but lesbians hated that. it's a typical sell-out move from desperate or hack writers. i guess because lesbians will watch or read anything with lesbians no matter how bad it is?

you'd expect an average girl in her 20s to get gang-banged at frat parties & smoke crack too. but you know she isn't switching teams.. she's just now "bi" which we all know really just means "i'm a slut and'll fuck anything". isn't the whole point of a hero is they are better than you?

but Riley's not dead. in one of the comics i think she had a one panel dream about banging him. either way i'd bet $ it's only a short matter of time before they drag him out. shit, they even brought back (skinless) Warren.. as Amy's boyfriend no less. Season 8 is like really bad fan-fic, the only good issues were the filler ones with Faith & the death of Buffy's double. with the average qualiy of these issues there's no way they're hitting Season 9.
