Can't get enough of the token black guy

DAMN!

SHIT!

YO, THAT IS WACK!

Trailer looked like another WB disposable teen horror film. Of course, all we get in horror films is the same WB cast, what can you do.
2  Horror Movies / Horror Movie News / Re: They Live Remake on: December 05, 2008, 04:28:45 PM
Hollywood has been a big pile of shit for some time now, hence why the best horror films are from overseas.

Any news about remakes just confirms the big pile of shit is a big pile of shit. And if the big pile of shit actually got something right, they would still get it wrong by making sequels to it.

Fucking assholes.

Don't really care about Still Standing, but I would give just about anything to meet Jami Gertz.

Another damn vampire movie, jesus christ. Reading the review, the first few lines of plot sound VERY familiar.

Oskar (Hedebrant) is a socially awkward 12-year-old kid who lives in Blackeberg, a suburb outside of Stockholm in the early 1980‘s. He constantly seems to be a target for other kids to pick on. Most of his teachers don’t even seem all that supportive. There are a few school bullies in particular that constantly make fun and brutally beat up on him. There seems to be no end to this and he is too afraid to fight back. Oskar doesn’t have anyone he can really talk to. He doesn’t even tell his mother what happened and he doesn’t see his father very often. Oskar dreams of revenge, using the bullies’ words against them, and being able to make them sorry for the constant torment that they show him every day. One night when he is acting out how this might go he spots.....

*****After you read that, you ask yourself, WHO does he spot?

HE SPOTS MIYAGI! and HE IS A VAMPIRE!

I would actually watch that. lol

Leslie Easterbrook who played Callahan has been on the con circuit because of her role in Devil's Rejects. Anyway, she said recently the project was dead.

So if this interview took place in the last few months, maybe it's going to happen. Not that it really matters, if there isn't a sequel made, it will get the remake/reimagine/reinvention treatment.
6  The Fun Stuff! / Horror Fights / Re: Footlosse VS Dirty Dancing on: November 25, 2008, 08:44:39 PM
I chose Footloose, but honestly, why isn't Flashdance in this poll?

Now that is some quality shit.

Anyway, Kevin Bacon did a commentary for the Footloose dvd and it really was outstanding for anyone who likes the film. He actually passed along a story that when he has gone to a wedding or party, he has actually paid a DJ to NOT play that damn song. He says everyone really did form a circle around him and expect him to start dancing. lol

Good times dammit.
7  The Fun Stuff! / Other Crap / Re: Steven Seagal and a reality TV series? on: November 25, 2008, 01:19:21 AM
He had a couple decent films after On Deadly Ground. But when Steven tried to save the environment, people stopped caring, myself included. lol
8  Horror Movies / Other Movies / Re: Punisher: War Zone (a.k.a a million people get shot in the face....) on: November 25, 2008, 12:59:54 AM
Thomas Jane did not return in this sequel because the budget got cut way down along with those always wonderful "creative differences"

So it sucks ass that the man who relaunched the character doesn't return. Not that it matters, I haven't seen Dolph's version, Thomas Jane's version NOR will I see this one.

Just another disposable action film.
9  Horror Movies / Other Movies / Re: Ace Ventura Jr. on: November 25, 2008, 12:54:23 AM
We got a shit sequel to the Mask, a shit sequel to Dumb and Dumber, no surprise that they cashed in. BUT this looks PAINFULLY bad even for a direct to DVD release.

Unbelievable and what's even scarier that this got the green light was that people will actually spend money buying this movie. Last, but not least, even for a low budget piece of shit like this, they had to have some kind of casting process and THIS is the best you come up with for your lead???

10  Horror Movies / Horror Movie News / Re: The Children on: November 23, 2008, 12:31:18 PM
I dunno about the original, but this remake or similar film looks like complete shit.
11  Horror Movies / Other Movies / Re: Leonard part 6 on: November 19, 2008, 11:48:01 PM
I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this movie now has its own fucking thread. Leave it HYB to have this, now we just need to have someone create a thread for that Amityville sequel that featured a possessed mirror. lol
12  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Re: Freddy's Dead in 3D on: November 19, 2008, 11:43:58 PM
I'm VERY fucking old and yes, there is blood, but not as much as that beautiful blood waterfall in part 1.
13  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Re: The new Last House dvd artwork SUCKS! on: November 18, 2008, 01:48:56 PM
The new artwork sucks and if I remember correctly, I think the original region 1 artwork sucked as well.

Just bullshit that they couldn't carry over the Wes and Sean commentary track, everything else on his has been brought over the from the region 1 release. The only big difference is the commentary track by David Hess and Co. That track is from the Region 2 release.

What can you do, the new artwork sucks, but we have come to expect that nowadays.
14  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Re: Freddy's Dead in 3D on: November 18, 2008, 12:53:38 PM
Lisa Zane was really hot in the movie. She is still beautiful all these years later.  Just something about her, I don't believe she has done a nude scene in a film. : (
15  Horror Movies / Other Movies / Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland on: November 18, 2008, 12:50:01 PM
This still just brings back bad, bad memories of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory disaster. What a godawful piece of shit that was.

Why couldn't we get an American Mcgee's Alice in Wonderland

Oh well
