1  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Black Christmas remake on: December 26, 2008, 10:14:29 PM
I think most people here have said that they hate this movie but i watched it the other day and you know compared to all the crap remakes coming out this one pretty damn decent. Shit load of blood and eyeball goughing what more could you want. some scenes were pretty creepy like crawling through the wall shit brought some memories back with people under the stairs and shit. the filmmakers obviously knew what they were doing by making it a good R rated flick. i just wish they did it more often. and the death scenes were pretty original and fresh. you can't beat the impaling on the x-mas tree at the end worthless.
2  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Future-Kill on: December 17, 2008, 11:47:45 PM
just saw this today and wow its like a futuristic version of the warriors. Think Escape from New York and Mad Max or something. anyway it stars Marilyn Burns and Edwin Neal from TCSM fame and in a nutshell its about a group of college students that decide to have a fun night out in a post nuclear NY or something and get hunted down by a group of mutant punks. very fun if your a fan of the genre.
3  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / zombie brigade on: December 17, 2008, 11:44:23 PM
just got this today in the mail and when i read it was released in 2004 i thought oh great another stupid backyard made zombie flick, well actually it was made in Australia in 86' and is about a group of vets rising from the grave in vietnam and seeking revenge on the owners of an amusement park that was built over the land they died in. sounds like a promising plot right? wrong, wrong. it was as bad as watching those shitty zombie movies from the 70's like Oasis of the Z and what not. The music even matched it.
4  Horror Movies / Other Movies / Island of Lonely Men on: December 17, 2008, 11:32:15 PM
Came across this today. I rented what i thought was the original B/W version of the Island of Lost Souls, but it this was the American version and the Italian version was called "Island of Lonely Men". I don't think i can name another gay title   this gay.

6  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Project Metal Beast on: December 17, 2008, 11:26:18 PM
Anyone seen/dig this movie from the early 90's with Barry Bostwick? If not its about this soldier that gets bitten by a werewolf and then frozen for a few years and then used as an experiment to graft metallic skin onto soldiers to make them bulletproof. After the experiment the soldier wakes up and transform into the inevitable Metal Beast. Pretty good flick.
7  Horror Movies / Horror Movie News / Re: Friday the 13th Remake on: December 06, 2008, 02:02:36 PM

8  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / The Baby on: November 26, 2008, 11:50:52 PM
Just saw this one today and it was a little like Spiderbaby with Sid Haig. A looney family has a grown man baby that they take care of and the sisters on occasion will sleep with him because their mother forbade them to date outside the family. anyway a nurse is hired to take care of "Baby" and soon she is chased around ala Texas Chainsaw style minus the chainsaw. Def. recommend it for all the horror movie nuts out there.
9  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Link(1986) on: November 26, 2008, 11:47:44 PM

12  Horror Movies / Horror Movies / Re: Twilight on: November 21, 2008, 08:31:36 PM
Saw it this afternoon and holy shit. Holy fucking shit was it bad. There were a bunch a teenies next to me that couldn't shut the fuck up about how they ditched school to see this. Fuck me the last movie I ditched school to see  was Star Wars Episode 1 and i have regretted it since. First of all these stupid lame ass vamps don't burn up in the sun, instead they show there true forms - which get this- they turn all sparkly. oh man they could have at least have them turn into some hideous creature which would make sense to me but not to teenies who need their perfect guy to be all shiny and shit. and here's a question that i kept pondering over that was never explained in the movie nor was it ever in the minds of the drooly fans. why the fuck would vampires go to school. to fit in? i thought the whole movie they were trying to avoid attention. like honetly why would vampires go to school. Learn? they're older than shit and obviously know everything. if you'd be around forever then wouldn't you learn a thing or two. and vampires playing baseball wtf!

fuck me don't waste your time with this. just let this series slowly die.

I agree with Larry. I saw the south episdoe last night and they hinted at Twihlight on how teens now want to dress as vampires but not be goth. its sort of hand in hand here. Its like being vegan but eating fish.
