I agree. Incredible list.

I love Hide and Go Shriek, but he covered most of the bases. Plus H&GS is kind of in a league of its own!

Congrats! That's so awesome. Don't forget you have a new erotic thriller section too! Smiley

I did the Scream Awards last year and it was fun. Here's the video we did:

You're going to have a blast!

Keep up all the great work!

What about Darkroom? Does anyone here remember this show which was hosted by James Coburn? Good stuff. They took some of the "harder" shorts and used them in that movie Nightmares, I believe.

Ghost stories suck! Always!

I definitely have to disagree with that.  John Carpenter has already proved that he can handle a ghost story and handle it well.  The Fog, I'm sure some of you have heard of it.

NightmareManiac

I am looking forward to this movie. I still love John Carpenter. I might not think all of his new stuff is so awesomely groundbreaking but I enjoy them.

Also, I agree with all who mentioned The Changeling as an awesome ghost movie. Probably my favorite. Also, the original Haunting is amazing.

It's movies like Gothika that ruin it for everybody!!!

I don't know that I'll ever understand the thought process behind BD. That's a shitty list. I mean, My Bloody Valentine is a fucking classic. It's like, isn't ELVES worse than that?!? Whoever made that list, just took some of the more famous titles and didn't do a lick of research!
9  Horror Movies / Horror Movie News / Re: The Strangers 2 on: September 02, 2008, 08:21:06 PM
For realz? I did like the first one quite a bit, but a sequel? That's weird.

I'd throw Monster Fish onto that pile!

Ummm, Curse 2 has Jill Schoelen... therefore it rules!

I really like it, but actually havent seen the others. I didn't know the first and second were on DVD... well, I guess I've got my next paycheck spent!

I think you'd be surprised at how many people HAVE seen this movie. If you came of age in the 70s, this was a staple on television. I must have seen it at least a dozen times back then. It was briefly on video (and maybe DVD, not sure) and I got it upon release cuz I was all cool and shit. I just re-watched it a few months ago. It's great.

Here's a review I wrote for it for my TV Movie blog:

He really is totally hot. I've been absolutely enamored with him since Willard. He's an amazing actor and well preserved. He looks amazing. He was also in this weird dark comedy:

Nice pick! He does deserve to be here!
