are reporting that Yahoo will be the first site to have the brand new trailer up for the much anticipated Transformers movie when it is released on the web tommorow.
Here’s what director Michael Bay said of the trailer…
Today I just finished the new teaser for Christmas and I think it’s AWESOME! The trailer mixing Guru who does all the big summer movies turned to me and said with a little more ump - it was ‘fucking awesome.’
I think some of my films have had good teasers but this one is just makes a statement. It’s hard edged to show we are not a silly ‘toy’ movie. We show just hints of robots - and almost none of our epic shots are in this teaser, but the movie just looks big. I had a room full of 20 Tranformers adult geeks, and they all applauded at the end.”
You can watch the timer countdown by clicking here. At the time of posting there is around 1 day and 10 hours left until it’s released which would make it around 7pm UK time on Wednesday evening.
As someone who knows nothing about the franchise, I will be interested in seeing what all the fuss is about.

well its a good idea for a movie, but its been so long since the cartoon came out that many people have grown out of it- except for the hard core fans. I saw some intersting footage off of youtube- just write transformer trailer and you get some interesting footage of the bots. I wasn't a huge fan of the series. I like the idea of alien robots that are able to hide as machines could be hanging out with us and fighting wars and all that. and if they are able to do it right, it could be the next big franchise. but I wonder if Michael Bay has even a single original idea left?

I think part of the allure for me is how long it has been. It will be fun rediscovering all the details.
I cannot wait for this movie.

did you watch the teaser or the full trailer that just came out today. both look pretty damn kick ass. but they didn't show enough in my opinion for those that have no idea what is going on.

Who did you spot? I spotted Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and maybe Starscream. And is that little girl holding a My Little Pony?

the trailor looks bad-ass. i saw some clips on Entertainment Tonight or Extra a few months ago that looked kind of crappy, so who knows. in that trailor, i think i saw Hound, Inferno, and Trail Blazer too.. but it's really hard to tell by IDing vehicles. they are already planning a 2 and 3 too..
########################POSSIBLE SPOILERS (not really though)##################
So far, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Bumble-bee (as a Camero), Soundwave, Frenzy, Ratchet, Bonecrusher (a Constructicon  ), Scorponok.. "Spike" and "Sparkplug" are the only familiar charactors that have been released to be in this film. the police car isn't Prowl either. i had to cheat and look it up.. it's Barricade, who was a ghetto Decepticon Hot Wheels® size race-car from generation one's dying days. though he wasn't originally part of the team that formed Bruticus, in the gay new Energon cartoon he is a weird looking truck that forms it's body. either way he's never been a police car til now.
Unfortunatly most of the people who did the voices in the original series are dead. Peter Cullen however is alive and will be doing Optimus again! Cullen also did the voice of Ironhide, so maybe they'll add him too as an extra Autobot. Frank Welker (Futurama's Nibbler, the new Scooby-doo's Scooby and Fred, plus hundreds of other voiceovers) is alledgidly doing the voice of Megatron.
Bernie Mac and Tom Lenk (Andrew from Buffy) will also be in the movie. i wish i could say only as voiceovers, but it doesn't seem like that's the case. so hopefully Bernie will say "nigga please" at some point.

reagrdless it will be awesome. Spielberg and Michael Bay. Maybe Speilberg can teach Bay how to direct finally. More story and less explosions and Will Smith characters screaming "Ya that's what I am talking about!".

i hope they'll have a scene where someone leans on a car and the heat from their hand reveals an Autobot logo..
