The Wizard

I still pop this flick in from time to time
as it's great to see all the old NES games
get played in their arcade form. If you
haven't seen it, story goes...

kid in the middle wants to run away
to california with his cousin (fred savage)
and along the way they meet the chick
and it turns out the kid in the middle is
a really video game wizard and can kick
anyone's ass. Rest of the movie is them
hustling people for money on video games
as they proceed to a video game contest
in california. I find that this is still a pretty
enjoyable movie despite the filmakers
adding in the backstory of the kids running
away from home and the parents out looking
for them.

I remember that when like Super Mario 3 came out if you watched this movie it tipped you off on how to get one of those magic flutes

It's kind of like the "Color of Money" but for kids. Mureder has the girl gotten naked after these films?

not that i know of. she was in that dyke movie Foxfire with Angelina Jolie i can't remember if she got naked though, i kind of doubt it.

And no. She didn't get naked in that flick.
Maybe down to bra but that was about it.

Yea I thought that was wicked that they showed you how
to get one of the flutes for Mario 3. I remember getting hyped
up for it big time cause of this movie. And the kid with the
power glove hahaha...

"The power glove...it's so bad." what a cheese line.

I do remember thinking it was cool when Christian Slater
was playing Nintendo in a hotel room and told his dad he
was playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I freaked at that too haha.

That girl was FINE in The Wizard.  When I was reading "The Girl Next Door" by Jack Ketchum, I kept imagining her as Meg.

This movie was good other than the use of the Power Glove.  That thing was a piece of shit.
