Has anyone here seen this before?
It's not available on DVD for some reason, but it fucking should be because it's awesome! I saw it a few years ago in a college film appreciation course.
It's a fucked up australian flick (i think) and Viggo Mortenson's first film. It's about a kid who is growning up in a fucked up family, and has fucked up friends, who keep getting kidnapped and murdered by a child molester riding around in a black car. Viggo Mortenson plays as the older brother who comes home from some war (I think WW2) with a skin disease that is going to kill him. The boy finds a aborted fetus and thinks it's an angel to he puts it in a shoebox and brings it home to keep under his bed for good luck. The dad pours gasoline all over himself and lights a match. Hilarity ensues!
