yea i know it's not out yet, but i'm sure we've all seen trailors which is enough to give us something to bitch about. so far they've comprimised, condensed and just made shit up for the sake of fitting stories and histories into the films. oddly enough.. i can accept all of them so far..
(except that self-doubt made him lose his powers, tho it was funny him smiling at crimes in progress). i don't know how they're gonna pull this one off though.
the alien costume.. i first got into
Spiderman as a kid during the period he wore that, so that's always been my favorite
Spidey. i was never too fond of
Venom after the first few storylines involving him. but anyway.. it's a long, complex story; after seeing how gay they adapted
Pheonix in
X-men 3 (another long, complex story), i'm pretty damn iffy on this new chapter. i read a spolier which made it sound alot less gay then the trailors portray so.. who knows..
the main problem is
Sandman,
Venom and
Green Goblin. three villians in one movie is over abitious, the
Batman movies proved that shit doesn't work. at least they aren't all teaming up. the latter 2 villians seem diversionary at best. although
Sandman is supposedly the guy who killed
Uncle Ben.. which.. um, yea.. also,
Gwen Stacey's in this one too.. playing what looks like a
Felicia Hardy-esque charactor, as well as her stupid father.
i would be able to just get drunk and enjoy just seeing
Spiderman websling around doing acrobatic fights and shit.. but of the clips i've seen... BAD cgi.. real bad.
i'm sure Wil's the only one who understands half of what i just said. oh well. fuck it.
