Just seen the trailer. Looked like it may be alright. Is this supposed to be a prequel or a reboot? The thing that bothers me with this is that if I didn't know it was a trailer for The Planet of the Apes, I wouldn't have guessed it as such. If anything it looked like a rehash of Congo in a city/urban setting.

Ah, the only ones I've seen are the original and the shitty Burton remake. They're actually playing the 4th one on one of the HBO channels this week, so I'll probably give it a watch. If for nothing more than me hearing that it has chimps with AK-47s in it.

Funny I keep seeing people on Facebook say they have only seen Burton's version. I never realized so many people haven't seen the original ape films. Basically the films were made kind of backwards. The fourth being the prequel to the first. This remake looks like they're trying to start from the beginning with the damn dirty apes' uprising!
