I am so sick of reading top ten lists of car chase movies and they dont even mention MAD MAX ,this is total B.S. You can take french connection and ronin and place em under your sweaty yams. I like Bullit but that mustang just cant compete with the souped-up australian FORD FALCON, come on people,really. HEY if you dont like fords i understand but take alook at this monster and tell me it isnt straight outta hell . And im not talking bout no THUNDERDOME bullshit. THIS MOVIE ROCKS!!!!!!!

I wont argue between mad max 1 or 2 . That chase in the road warrior is so sick and so influential. how about that tricked out semi in DEATH RACE, look familiar. I just didnt dig the sand buggys as much . It seemed more contemporary in part one with motorbikes and police cars.

One of the better car chases in my opinion has to be from Matrix series... Reloaded I think was the one with the highway scene. Pretty intense.

That MATRIX chase is pretty comparable. there is like 45 minutes of nonstop action there. That was the SUMMER OF CHASES with RELOADED, TERMINATOR 3 crane chase and BAD BOYS 2 had a sick chase....

I thought DEATHPROOF was great!!! I really liked GRINDHOUSE.. The chase in deathproof was good but i was hypnotized by some of the actresses , mainly ZOE BELL... another movie that has a great chase in it is JADE , with David Caruso.. I love the black T-BIRD. its a pretty long chase with a lot of casualties....

Look, I love the chase in Road Warrior, and Bullit and Reloaded and The Bourne Supremecy (badass chase that never gets mentioned) I hated the chase in Deathproof and to Live and Die In L.A. had a pretty good chase...but you know what...and I get SO much shit for this it ain't even funny...but my favorite car chase ever?
Bad Boys 2.
Yeah. That's right.
Cars flipping all over the place, people getting shot left and right, screaming and yelling, stuff exploding everywhere, that whole scene is just mindblowingly fun.
Far as I'm concerned. Best car chase EVER.
