Jurassic Park IV or Fuck Spielberg

i remember seeing a joke poster on the site for this. i thought the joke was that 'hey it wouldn't surprise me if this was next'.. but yea.. Spielberg started production on this, signed contracts now etc. it's directed by the guy who did 3. i've never seen any of these movies though and i won't see this one.. because dinosaurs are gay. Spielberg is senile now and must be stopped.. i'm surprised that little shit isn't combining it for Indiana Jones in Jurassic Park

he's also having Liam Neeson play Abraham Lincoln.. surprisingly not in Jurassic Park IV but in Lincoln .. which i think is supposed to be about Abe walking 10 miles in the snow to return a penny because that's the only myth related to him.. Abe Lincon hated black people btw, i wonder if that will be expressed or contradicted.

Yeah but they get to make the IV in this movie look like a footprint, that's reason enough to make it.

you can't really say that you hate something that you've never seen,
Dinos are gay huh. maybe in older movies involving claymation and puppets and other dated techniques but in myopinion this movie really kicked ass. i was 13 when it came out and i watched at least 5 or 6 times  that summer.
and you can't say fuck spielberg. he did Jaws. He did Duel. He did Indy. come on. especially when he started out like most indy directors which small budgeted flicks like Duel. anyone seen it. If you've seen the Hitcher its close. and shit he had onw of the best demises of a character ever filmed. Jaws when the shark jumps and crashes down on the stern of the boat and bites Quint in half. good stuff.

well yea Spielberg USED to be great.. maybe.. prior to 1990. he's had by far more shitty, failed and forgotten movies than quality or academy award winning ones. 25 years have passed since the last Indy film and Spielberg's style has changed considerably during that time. not to mention cast is just as important as director and the orginal movies' actors all have 1 foot in the grave already. poking fun at an aged hero gets old fast. it's the same as.. when like The Who park their wheelchairs to go on a "comeback" tour in a pitiful attempt relive their youth.. let sleeping dogs lie.

as for dinosaurs, i just don't like them. no matter how realistic they may look, they just bore me.. a T-rex can't sneak up on you and a shotgun would kill a raptor. nothing against people who like them, it's just not my genre. Spielberg is merely an "executive producer" on Jurassic 4 anyway which just means he's indorsing it, as he will just about anything. which is why i really feel his name is worthless. Joe Johnston is directing it, as he did the previous one which was supposedly a huge flop. in fact all few movies he's done (The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones, Jumanji, The Rocketeer) have flopped except for Honey I Shrunk the Kids (and arguably Hidalgo), which i really hated. so yea.. i can't think of any reason i should see Jurassic Park 4 to know i'd hate it.
