Stamos told The New York Daily News, "I'm working on a movie idea, but it wouldn't be us playing us. I'm not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years." Stamos has Steve Carell and Tracy Morgan in mind for the roles of Danny Tanner and Joey Gladstone respectively. It has also been rumored that James Franco is to play John Stamos's character, Jesse Katsopolis.
Without the tender touch of Jeff Franklin I think this one will be a turd. His laser-sharp writing was a such a big part of the success of the series. Steve Carell has just enough bland whitebread appeal to replace Bob Saget. Replacing Dave Coulier with Tracy Morgan on the other hand would be blasphemy. They should get Jeff Dunham to do it. He would make a good Joey and an even better Ranger Joe! I could see James Franco stepping in as the new Uncle Jesse. I don't want to sound like a queer or nothin', but I think Franco has the right combination of good looks and charm to steal America's heart the way John Stamos did so many years ago.
I think Megan Fox should play Rebecca Donaldson/Katsopolis. I should be cast in a bit part as the bass player of The Rippers.

ugh....adapting the worst tv show ever into a movie? they're really running out of ideas.
i could see them doing a whole brady bunch movie self satire thing here though....which could work if you let bob saget be a total creep

yes, i am aware of HYB's obsession with Full House....i just don't get it. that's all.
is there some inside joke that i'm not in the know about?
but as for a full house movie, yeesh. what's next? a big screen adaptation of Hangin with Mr Cooper? or Step by Step?
oh yea, conan had a joke about this full house movie last night. he said the film would be called full house, while the theatre that runs it will be called empty house....HI-YOOOOOOOOOO!

As long as they play some shitty elevator music towars the end of the movie, like in the show. In all honesty, i watched this show when i was a kid and would never go to see a film version. Anybody remember the Brady Bunch movie?
