'Mummy' Has Neighborhood On EdgeWATCH IT: 'Mummy' Spotted Outside HomesCYPRESS, Texas --Residents in Cypress are on alert after a man has been seen running around the area dressed as a mummy.
"Bandages, like a mummy," homeowner Jon Hill said. "He looked like a mummy."
Hill said he saw the man in the front yard of his home on Chestnut Falls Drive near Crossvine Trail in Fairfield on Wednesday night and called the police.
"It's scary not knowing what this man is up to or what he wants," he said.
Other neighbors said they are also concerned about this man and have notified the police. They said he's been spotted on more than one occasion.
"It's creepy, especially since he's here in the neighborhood with the kids and stuff," resident Steven Scheiffele said.
Harris County sheriff's deputies recommended that homeowners who see the man dressed as a mummy in their yard call 911 immediately.
