So I tried joining UHM's forum, and I was talking and stuff... and for such a larger forum then HYB's... there sure are a lot of fucking idiots on there. I mean.. the dude that runs that site is cool and everything... but I read stuff like "The 80s was the worst genre for horror" and "you're not funny". What kind of fucking forum is this?! I instantly remembered why I generally stray away from message boards. People have bad taste and are usually pretty fucking stupid.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, thank you HYB.
UHM's forums is one of the reasons I started and run our forums the way we do. They were the first horror forum I joined and they were awful, you couldn't talk about anything besides Night of the Living Dead and Evil Dead. Everytime you brought something up they didn't like some asshole with a 6 million post count would post -- boring-- however if you did the same thing you were ruining the thread. The guy who owns it (and I finally met him in LA this year) had some cunty controlling girlfriend he had to bow down to every day....Lets just say I didn't last long and was banned. I can't believe they are the same way after all these years, probably the same 6 assholes too. I also remember they used to make fun of Bloody Disgustings forums, but BD was way better back then. Now it is basically the same place.
