Am I the only one that noticed that Freddy is yelling, "I didn't do it!" or some shit like that. So they changed his backstory to being an innocent accused of the crimes??? The reason Freddy is my favorite horror villian is because he is a sick fuck who murdered children then seeks revenge on the children of those who paid him back. Oh and he murdered his own wife in front of his daughter and so on. They had better not turn him into a limp dick killer.
You're late to the party on that one babe. Plus from what I read, that could be misleading. One of my nitpicks was the sweater scene. I agree that it is just awful. Platinum Dunes has their plateful with this one. If they fuck this up bad, they could be abandoned by all true horror fans completely. Kellan Lutz can smoke my DICK! But I will say, the little girl with the claw slash in her dress was pretty awesome to see. |

Damn Freddy looks weird! They really went all out with the make-up. That imagery is badass though, Freddy coming down the hallway all sillouetted, I know it's been done before but it always gets me.
The only scene besides obvious stuff (like the boiler room) was the bathtub scene, everything else looked pretty new.
It's going to take me a little while to get used to Jackie as Freddy, but I think this is going to be pretty good, not great...but pretty good.

I find it stupid that folks are complaining about the way that Freddy looks. If he was burnt alive, he would look like this. Have you ever seen a 3rd degree burn victim?? They never have eyes, noses, or eyelids, I think he looks much cooler and realistic like this.

He does look like a real burn victim and I'm actually glad they went for a different look, voice etc. But it's still gonna take a minute to get used to... |

Freddy's facial features are surprising, I'm surprised they had the balls to change it. Kudos on them on that at least. I too wish they would have thrown out the sweater. They should have replaced it with the kick ass trench coat from New Nightmare.
I'm weary about this one, but I'll end up seeing it regardless.

I love how the music is overly epic. I'm sure I'll go see this in the theaters. I'm not even going to give a shit if it's bad. Like I've said a million times before, the first three Nightmare on Elm Streets are the only ones worth a shit. I'm kind of over Micheal Bay though, but whatever.
