I said #2 because it was a slight improvement on #1's makeup and made Freddy look like a darker villan. plus the brain scene is still awesome.

The first 3 all had great make up. Though part 3 did start the trend of making the flesh look like raw hamburger meat and less like burns.

I chose Dream Master...hear me out. I'll admit Freddy's standard make-up through out the film was pretty poor, at best. However, Freddy's death in Dream Master tops anything they've ever done with Freddy's make-up, including the brain scene from Part 2 (which was also amazing).

Yeah, he was part of the special effects crew, not sure if he did the Freddy make-up though.

the original because Freddy looked absolutely sinister in that one. I had to close my eyes while watching that in theaters.

Definately the first 2. 3 wasn't bad but he started getting a little...lighter. 4 on he became to even, the burns were all nice and neat and matching on both sides.

Part 1 makeup fx were good, except the cutting off the fingers. Freddy looked straight up like Wes Craven wanted him to look like, a dirty hobo in a red and green sweater and burned. Part 2 make up fx were ok. the make up for Freddy was good. Made him look a little more healed, but still scary (once again on the brain, niiiice). But when Freddy comes out of the kids body, that is what kept me on my seat, almost it looked half fake. Part 3 make up fx? Freddy ends up losing more and more grotesqueness after this one. But the other make up fx, like the puppet string veins and the tongue from Joey's mouth were ALMOST realistic looking, which is why I chose part 3.

When Freddy comes out the kid.. that's like one of the coolest Nightmare scenes EVER. I don't like you.
