how could we have overlooked him for so long?

i think i'm the only person who hated all the Candyman flicks.. but every other movie he was in is great. not to mention he's guest starred on pretty much EVERY horror, sci-fi, fantasy tv show of the past 15 years... he was even on MacGyver, Cop Rock and 21 Jumpstreet!

well i don't think this one is him, it came up on a google image search though.. so who knows!

No that last one looks like him. From the angle I remember him from that is, on my knees looking up.

I know Tony Todd has been on the convention circuit forever, but it was so nice to finally meet him last November. I had him sign a Platoon poster and he mentioned to me that as much as he loves movies, he enjoys being on the stage even more.

I joked with him that I found one of his Playbills on Ebay and thought about bringing it, but decided to go with Platoon. I knew going in he was a very nice guy and the stories of him hanging out with fans before/during shows are always great to read. Just one of the "good guys" in the business.

I loved Candyman 1, part 2 was okay and part 3 was just goodness awful.  I enjoyed his role in Final Destination and he was really good in the NOTD remake.

I think my favorite Tony Todd roll is Ben in the NotLD remake.  He's a rad fucking actor.

The jury is still out with me if he is really a good actor or not, because his performance in that Scarecrow movie was embarrassing. But those movies were embarrassing.
