With our inventory getting very low, we need to drastically replenish it and quickly at that. So, we are turning to you, the members of Horror Year Book and asking, practically getting on our knees, for help.
We want donations of your USED (or NEW) Horror related DVDs and paraphernalia, such as video games, soundtracks, action figures, comics, mugs with horror logos, and so on. Some people just throw away this stuff and it goes to waste. The more items we have in the inventory, the more it attracts new members and traffic for HYB and in turn, more recognition. Our store is the only one of its kind on the online horror community. Don't let it die, please!
Please, if you have any DVDS or CDS you would like to send, please be sure they are in working condition and not scratched to hell.
If you would like to send anything at all, please let either Wil or myself know by sending a private message. Also, there will be an incentive points program. This means for whatever you donate, you will get points towards whatever you want to purchase in the store. Points will range up anywhere from 25 to 500 and on certain bigger items, there will have to be discussion involved on what the points should be. The point system is below so check it out. Hopefully, this works.
Point System:
Mainstream DVD: 500 points per DVD (i.e. shit you see in gabillion of theaters)
B-Movie DVD: 400 points per DVD (i.e. Very limited theater releases)
C-Movie DVD: 300 points per DVD (i.e. Snakes on a Train, Bacterium, ...basically bad b-movies that were never in theaters)
Horror related Soundtracks/CDs: 250 points per CD
Horror Video Games: PS3, XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii: 500 points per game
Horror Video Games: PS2, Game Cube, Xbox: 300 points per game
VHS movies that are not on DVD: 150 points per VHS
Action Figures: 100 points per figure
Books/Novels: 75 points per book/novel
Comics: 50 points per comic
Other items, that are not included in the not accepted list below, will be given points depending on item and discussed between mods on how much should be given.
We are not accepting: Posters, DVD-Rs, Trading Cards, or Clothing Apparel.

You know the saying "One person's trash is someone else's treasure" or some shit like that. Anyway help is appreciated when we originally started the store people did "donate" things and Ironik is working on a rewards system. I'm always keeping my eye out for new stuff to add, but sometimes those avenues dry up especially when people insult the companies that donate (*cough*Murder*cough*). So let's say I were to Donate NoES 3: Dream Warriors, Psychomania, and The Amityville Horror on VHS, would I get 450 points?
And If I donate The Ring 2 unrated with a black in white DVD cover that I printed out, would I still get 500 points?

Oh the way it reads is misleading. He means that the VHS has to be only available on VHS and not on DVD. Does that make sense?

Hey Steve and Wil. I'll look through my shit and send some stuff your way. I still really appreciate the TLA movies I got a few months ago. Hell's Ground was so ridiculous! Anyone who's been on the board for a while and has taken advantage of this shop should find at least a little something to throw back.
