Rank Underneath your name and above your Avatar is a "rank." This is a standard MB feature that we changed to fit the Horror Yearbook theme. It coincides with your post count. You start off as a "Bed Wetter" and move through the various stages of school, college, and then life the more you post. The highest rank you can achieve is "Bicycle Shop Owner" a reference to the sitcom
Difference Strokes.
Stars These have to do with your "rank" and will change accordingly. Nothing really exciting.
Herpes Seeds This is another standard MB feature we changed. It allows you to vote for other members. If you like someone award them
1 Herpes Seed. If you do not like them or they do something stupid take away one of their Seeds by giving them
Valtrex. The person with the most Herpes Seeds wins The Game.
Posts: This is just a tally of how many posts and topics you have made on the board.
Credits: Credits are something you earn to use in our

Smiley Movie Rating SystemIf you visit the
What's the last video you rented or watched? thread you may notice that older members add smiley faces after the movie they listed. This is just our personal rating system.
Roll CallIf you drop by the boards and don't have anything to say or add to the discussions, but still want to say "Hi"? You can post in the
Roll Call section to let everybody know you're still here.
Random RefrencesBeing a new member it is sometimes hard to keep up with all the references older members may make on a message board. So I try my best to keep HYB newbie friendly by recording everything I can. Two places you can check are; The
HYB Graveyard -- Which keeps track of our ex-members, or the
HYB Walk of Fame -- Where we save all of our epic, hilarious and flame war threads. These do contain a lot of HYB history.

Nothing that can get me sued or shut down! Besides that the boards are not really moderated, threads are never locked and feuds are encouraged to be settled on your own.
We would appreciate it if you tried not to start duplicate topics, derail threads, and post unnecessary spam. However, we do welcome independent filmmakers, authors and artists who are trying to get the word out about their projects.
