3rd. Attacked Dark Spider

4th. Ruin a few small horror directors

5th. Called you all sick for talking about rape revenge films

6th. Took a dump on the horror genre

7th. And wouldn't add a robot to DWTS when I asked him to do so

8. I also have recieved e-mails from several people who claim he has ripped them off in the past!

Now he sends me this and I am suppose to feel bad for him.


Fending off your attacks has cost me thousands.  You have burned
up the entire retainer for my legal guys-you have defamed me.  You have defamed
my company.  And now you have contacted people I work with to further try to
destroy my company and my projects.  Do you realize the scope of what you have cost
me?  I don't think you really do.  I want you to think about that.
You have cost me a lot.

When will you realize Wil that when you set out to ruin someone you usually do.
When you set out to hurt someone you usually do.
I don't really think you have a conscience, but I will just tell you this.  James and I
have spent a large sum, mortgaged our homes, and more to
get this project to the point of production-you are trying to bring it down.
You have no idea what you have done, but I will so far as to tell you that if you bring
it all the way down, you will cost over 100 people jobs.
It is amazing how people like you don't really think about the ramifications of your
actions.
We are good people Wil.   We are charitable.  We have families.  Some of us have children
who are ill.
For the 2 years we have been prepping this film, I have spent every waking hour not on
the project, at Children's Memorial at my youngest son's bedside, while he has had heart
surgery, kidney surgery on his only kidney, and when he has been too ill to walk because
his immune system doesn't function properly.
When not doing that, I have been to 3 family funerals.
Lastly Wil, I have a disease that will kill me about 25 years before my time.  I have
limited time
with my children and my wife and you are wasting a lot of it, forcing me to defend my
business, and my reputation.
Fact is, we have funds to make a hundred films.  I should have let our projects speak for
themselves, but I just hate people who
set out to hurt others for the sake of self edification-which is what you have done here.
Look inside yourself Wil.  Think about what you have done.  Think about what you do to a
business owner when you attack them and attack their business partners.  Both Dan and
Christian have equity stakes in this project-so they won't walk away from it.  Calling
them, their agents, their mothers, whomever isn't going to make them walk away-it will
just cause them undue stress, and neither of them have ever even heard of you let alone
hurt you-what could possess you to go after them?
Why would you want to not only hurt me, but hurt my friends?

I am blown away every day of my life at the malice people have towards others.  I am
tired of defending myself to people who don't know me, or my work.    You have attacked
my resume, yet you have never seen it.  You have attacked my films, yet you have never
seen them.  You have attacked my foundations, yet you know nothing about them.

Lastly, when you attack me, you attack my family.  My son requires 24 hour attention from
his parents, so my wife doesn't work.  If I don't work, my kids don't eat.  Do you really
want that hanging over you?  And I forgot to ask-why do you hate me?  Why do you hate my
family?  Why do you hate all my partners?  Jimmy Zahn has worked side by side with me 20
+ hours a day for 2 years on this-why would you begrudge him the opportunity to see his
project completed?

I have never done anything to you Wil.  I defended myself when you printed lies about me.

Well he treated us like fools, then he made it personal and he just messed with the wrong people. If he had the resources he claims to have, he would of had no problem ruining us. When you lie and cheat to get somehwere you can't complain when someone comes along later and crushes you. It's called karma!

I should also add that the reason I kept after this man is that everytime I would let it go I got another e-mail from a person who claims Matt ripped them off.

I even talked to one person on the phone that claims Pletcher ripped him off.  A LOT of people contacted me thanking me for what I was doing because a lot of people are afraid of him. Also don't listen to his bullshit because he has done nothing but change his story over and over so he is probably lying in that e-mail also.

I have just re-registered with the message boards and am now finishing my second hard drink in a few weeks with no food today, so forgive me if I seem a tad grandiose or have a shitload of misspellings.

Matt Pletcher has only himself to blame for his misfortunes involving DEATH WALKS THE STREETS.  He owes money all over town like a common whore and has somehow come up with the dosh to sell eighteen thousand gullible teenagers hooded sweatshirts. 

He could have stretched this out for a good ten years before the shit went down.  Telling these poor folks "Just soldier us on your backs just a little bit further and we will give you the movie of your dreams.  Zombies and demons and gangsters, oh my!"  Giving the fans of this beloved genre the mirage to end all mirages while pocketing their milk money.

But they dared sully the one inalienable human right we value over almost all others: The right to ask "How?"  The right to ask "Why?"  The right of the press, independent or otherwise, to call "Bullshit" and say that what one is saying is nigh on impossible to believe.  They tried to quell inquiry and quash dissent.  To take part in insidious groupthink that seeks to destroy any voice that dares topple the pipe dream they try to sell us.

So yes, Pletcher and his cohorts have mortaged their lives and time with their families, (if what they say is to be believed) but not for art and CERTAINLY not for the entertainment or enlightenment of the movie going public... But for the quick buck, and to protect their legacies as sad little kings of a sad little hill.

What horroryearbook has done is small, to be sure, and its story may never be told again, but it will in some small way affect the Big Picture.  If it will weaken one person's disillusionment, or strengthen one person's resolve and faith in the movies we love so much, then Molly and WIL have done the right thing in blowing the whistle on this motherless fucker and his band of miscreant cronies.

Look around the margins of the screen you're sitting at.  Take in the smell and the sound of wherever you are and know that this is what it is like when the good guys win for a change.  And remember...

For we may never see it again.

Anyway, I'll probably never comment on here again because I so rarely have a lot to say, and if I went on too long or got all dramatic and sappy, then I'm sorry I wasted your time.
