I know Greg has his own section down below in our Walk of Fame, but when we first met him (from what I remember) Johnny Gruesome seemed like only a dream. When Gary and I first read the words Headbanger From Hell we couldn't stop talking about a possible Johnny Gruesome film. Well little did we know that Johnny would come to us in the form of a book, CD, comic and we would fucking get a music video starring one of my all time favorite scream queens Erin Brown. I have not heard the CD yet (DAMN IT MOLLY) but I will Thursday (when we go to shoot more scenes with Todd Bridges, yay!), but I know this much: The Johnny Gruesome novel is great! The first song I heard from the CD is wonderful. I could not stop listening to it, I can only hope the entire CD is as good as that song. I can't wait for a Johnny Gruesome movie! Actually, I think the Aussie site might beat you to the punch, and at least I know it's a rave. Just remember, it's not bout who's on first, it's about who gives me the most usable quote, like:
"JOHNNY GRUESOME may be a book, but it's the best horror movie in the last ten years!"

Most assuredly; thanks for asking.
Although the novel won't be published until late September/early October, Horrorfind 8 will be the official launch of the GRUESOME CD and The Johnny Gruesome Death Mask. I'll be sharing a GRUESOME table with Giasone and Marcy Italiano, the brains behind the CD. Saturday morning--mm,10:30 or 11:00--we're having a launch party in one of the reading rooms, where G will perform acoustic versions of 4 songs from the CD and I may read some selections from the novel. I'm also hoping to get the programmers to show the short with their outdoor midnight movies. Stop by and sya hello, we don't bite as long as we've eaten.
