HORROR YEARBOOK DICTIONARY (FOR NEW MEMBERS)

Sometimes the HYB Message Board gets a little too personal so in an effort to make it easier for NEW members to know what the hell we're talking aboout I'm going to explain who people like "Chad" are and past events we may refer to (Like Tim Sullivan Director of 2001 Maniacs claiming we're homosexual) that NEW members may have no idea what the hell we're talking about. Good idea right?

All this info is somehwere on the board but this is just a quick reference guide ....that will probably just become as confusing as the rest of the board in the future but hey at least we try.

Anyway other members may add to this BUT SERIOUS POST THAT HELP EXPLAIN THINGS, ONLY! Don't come on this thread and make it just as confusing as the rest. of the threads on here O.K. here I go with the first entry: The Staff:

MEET THE HYB STAFF:

WIL Keiper (SN: WIL) Owner, creator sometimes refered to as editor of Horror Yearbook. Does basically everything on Horror Yearbook except the real hard web design crap and technical stuff.

Chad (SN: CJS) WIL's jewish buisness partner who does all the GREAT web design and technical stuff. You will hear Chad refered to a lot when we need stuff done on the site or when I am bitching about our advertising contract.

Molly Celaschi© (SN: Molly Celaschi) The persona owned by HorrorYearbook.com. Molly Celaschi is a character we created to be our hot, sexy female staff member.

Chris (SN: Murder Punk) Our "King of Useless Knowledge" an ex-junkie from the streets of NY who we medicated and locked up in Florida to keep us fresh in cartoon porn and entertainment. He is the highlight of our MB!

Andrew Walsh (SN: Andrew I think) Our gay writer who lives in a fort in WIL's livingroom. After April 22nd will be out of the fort and back in Philadelphia to be our "East Coast Correspondent" and still will be gay.

Gary (SN: NONE) You will hear us refer to "Gary" from time to time. He is WIL's roomate who owns the HYB archives of thousands of horror films.

Shane (SN: Shane) Shane is our "Music Editor" who normally monitors our music section and polices the boards at night when WIL is in bed.

Dr. Royce Clemens (SN: Royce?) One of our great movie reviewers who stops by the boards rarely.

Tyler Shainline (SN: T-Bags) Another one of our great reviewers who stops by the boards to yell at people for going to Blockbuster.

Good Spambot (SN: Good Spambot) A Spambot that WIL caught and reprogrammed to battle the other spambots. When we changed over to a  different message board his job became obsolete and he now currently runs the Message Board Shop. Be careful he is known to send nasty E-mails anytime a member orders from the store and is very slow at getting items out in the mail!

HYB Celebrities:

When we launched the HYB MB I tried to come up with ideas that would seperate our MB from other MBs on the net. I had seen a lot of other horror websites members & mods actually chase off people signing up trying to promote their work. I said "Screw It" it's a MB the one place on a website that the readers are allowed to mess up!  You have no input about what goes on the main site so use the MB for what ever purpose ya like, even to sell, promote or spam your own shit. Unless you're a Spambot, but we even let a few them stick around for amusment sake. So we have a lot of creators dropping by the boards. The ones who we really love and stick around earn their own sections in the HYB Walk of Fame.

Our number 1 HYB Celebrity is Greg Lamberson Director of "Slime City" and author of the upcoming novel "Johnny Gruesome." Click his name to visit his section of the board, I'm sick of writing about him. 

Other people who have and do stop by is SFX Artist Ed Martinez (Dead Pit and Amityville: A New Generation  and Death Row) Director Timo Rose (Barricade) and some guy who wrote a "Friday the 13" book. I can't find his name.


Another one of our NEW celebrities is Dark Spider someone who we tore apart in our Girls That Call Themselves Scream Queen... thread. She was awesome enough to come over here even after we made fun of her and prove to us that she is cool enough to be a scream queen in my book. Anyone who can tolerate Johnny Truant deserves some kind of title.

I'm sure many more authors, directors and actors will stop by as HYB stays around but these are just a few you may find yourself chatting with on the MB!

Oh yeah and will put Gregory Solis in here. Author of the zombie novel "Rise & Walk" also another great guy!

I am Lethaldread, i would MOD but Wil here seems to have lost my powers somewhere along the way during the great move of 2007. Members were lost and killed during this time, hell Truant is able to procreate anymore due to it.
