man i watched the 1st mini series.. the shit is still fucking great. im so happy. i cant find the eventual series though.. i remember it was pretty bad.. the little lizard girl was all magic & shit  Julie banging Richard Gere while on the phone with her husband  . he likes gerbils in his ass. |

The first mini-series holds up really well, especially with all the shit going on in the world today. The second one--not written and directed by the guy who did the first one--doesn't hold up nearly as well, but is still fun in that 80s way. The series? Christ, it sucked then and it's even more embarrassing now!
They tried to revive it a couple of times, with the creator in charge, but both time NBC balked that he wanted to use the same actors.

i've been watching the actual series.. i mean, sure it's poorly writen, inconsistant and contradict's itself alot. like they met this Kyle guy.. twice.. for the first time. but it's so awful it's great.. usually. unnecessary acrobatics, like a grenade explodes making people do backflips.. barrel rolls during shoot outs heh.. plus hot bitches. it's totally worth renting & re-watching (if you have something else to do while you're watching it) lol notice instead of an alligater he has a person on his hoody |

man it's really at the point where it's easier to mention shit NOT being remade.. this one's being done by the same game as the old ones. hard to tell if that's a good thing or bad thing tho.. apparently he's been working on the script for "V: The Second Generation" close to 4 years too  |

I watched the original mini series a few months ago and liked it. I overlooked the bad TV acting, but overall it's a great story. I need to see the series. I know it was on when I was a kid, but don't remember much about it.
