Did anybody else catch this tonight? It's a pretty damn cool show with a cast from a few genre works, namely Nathan Fillion as the leading man. He was Malcolm Reynolds in Firefly and Bill Pardy in Slither. The premiere also had another Firefly alumni, Richard Brooks, who played as the bounty hunter Jubal Early and also played in the short lived but incredibly awesome G vs. E. The lady who played as Edith Farmer (the Sparkle Motion coach) in Donnie Darko, and the mean lady in Little Miss Sunshine, made a cameo as well.
It's about a secretive, illegal, cross country race. Nathan's character's wife is kidnapped by the orchestrator's of the race who promise to give her back if he wins. There are other people as well who have been invited of their own free will to participate to gain a shit load of money. It looks to be a good, well paced show with lots of revelations scattered throughout. It comes on during the Prison Break slot at 8 pm. est on Fox.
OH yeah, there is one team of drivers, a guy with terminal cancer, and his daughter who is a hottie siren.. WIL you'd like her, she favors Lindsay Lohan, the young Lindsay Lohan before STD's and drugs.

Did you watch it yet?
Tonight's episode was awesome! Micheal Bowen, who played Buck in Kill Bill vol 1 (he came to fuck, you might recall), was in it as a faux man of the law. Some interesting revelations about Nathan Fillion's character were made. It seems he used to be a killer. He also got his car, which is Mecha-sweet.
Cool show, I'm digging it.
