Happy Feet.
Great movie, even with the whole side part about the environment, and the CGI was incredible. It made me want to get a baby emperor penquin and train it to rap..

No, My Other Possessed-Zombie Girlfriend.  I'll review it for everyone later.  Well, actually that's what I'm about to watch.  I just finished watching the original Nosferatu.  In the words of Teen Girl Squad: "Soooooo gooood!"

Sorry guys, but the commercials for Happy Feet make me cringe. It reminds me of frickin' peguin documentary I hated. uhhh oh March of the Peguins.

I hated that movie and turned it off half way through. I watch some sick stuff, but I literally could not stomach those French guys exploiting the dying penguins. By far one of the most depressing movies ever. (Yes, I am an animal lover and believe in animal rights yada yada)

They aren't exploiting them, just showing what happens to them.  It's life.  With or without cameras there filming them, some of them are going to die.

It was a boring movie though.

But they made a profit off of it and won an Oscar. If they followed around cattle getting slaughtered, You don't think animal rights groups would protest that. No difference. Both are a part of life.

I see your point.  I didn't think the film was anything more than a glorified Animal Planet special.

Except Animal Planet specials are awesome.  Especially when they have them bad ass monkies going around stealing peoples drinks and shit.

I just don't honestly find the film to be exploitative.  It's not doing anything but being educational.  People actually went and spent money to see it and shit because the penguins are cute.

When I think animal exploitation, I think the muskrat scene in Cannibal Holocaust.  THAT is exploitation.  And one of the hardest things I have ever had to watch in my life.

Yeah, it was difficult to watch, but at the same time, that is a part of life as well. He was in the jungle, What else would he eat? So they filmed it. But they also filmed penguins getting eaten by whales or whatever the hell those gigantic beasts are. So what is the difference?

He didn't have to actually eat the muskrat.
