The Entity was goofy. Only good to check out the weird animatronic breasts on Barbara Hershey.

heh, I am on a yahoo group that is about ghosts attacking people. I got invited to a group chat and there were like 3 or 4 women in there, all of whom claimed to have been raped by spooks, and they all kinda liked it to varying degrees. One even said she looked forward to it happening again.
Anyways, last movie I watched was Mother's Day.
I was pissed that Desperate Housewives was a repeat this week.

I am pretty sure those women are in a little need of attention. So they pretend they get attacked and talk about how it is to get touched, etc.
Favorite Desparate Housewives character?
Bree for her nuttiness, Lynette for being almost normal.

Mine is Tom. He reminds me of me, somewhat. I'm not nearly (I'm 25) as old as him though.
He wants to do what is right by his wife, and he's a big kid. That's me, other than the wife part. But if I did have a wife, I'd want to treat her good and all. Especially if she was Felicity Huffman. That elevator makeout scene was hot.
Susan is adorable, but her boobs sag.
My least favorite is Gabrielle. I understand that she is amoral, vapid, and shallow because of her enviorment (the modeling BS), but at the same time it seems like she could be better than what she is. The whole thing with pitting those 2 little girls against each other was a new low for her. For every step she takes forward in her humanity, she takes 3 back.
And Special Agent Dale Cooper is awesome, even if he is a bad guy.

I have to agree about Tom & Lynette as a couple. I totally see myself as a Lynette because she is a strong woman in the workplace and takes care of things at home. Tom does act like a child and makes a lot of mistakes that hurts her feelings. I do not think he does it intentionally to anger her, but more to get attention and to try to set himself apart from the family in a way that makes he feel a little independent. I think he struggles with what it means to be a man.
I do not like Susan (other than all her wrinkles and anorexia issues) because she is annoying. She seems really insecure and clumsy and ruins all her relationships.
Bree is psychotic and I love her for that.
Gabbey is stuck up and superficial. But her husband Carlos is the biggest prick. If I were her, I would divorce him and hang out with the gardner all day. I didn't like the misscariage thing though. When she feel, it didn't even look like it hurt at all. No drama. Then that mexican guy stalked her. No way would I get in that serial killer's car. And then that red balloon. WTF?

You would too get in a car with Danny Trejo!
He's Machete damnit. "He gets the girls, and kills the bad guys!".
I don't know if Carlos is a jerk or not. I mean yeah he has made lots of mistakes, but so has she. They both really love each other I think. They need counseling and lots of it.

Nah, Carlos has that machismo attitude and that doesn't fly with me. I dated a hot-heated Puerto Rican before and he was a prick too. Never again.
Carlos forced her to get pregnant, then beat up a gay guy, then told that hot lawyer (Adrian Pasdar, yummy) that he could bang his wife if he wanted to, then he cheated on her with the housekeeper and got her pregnant. The list goes on and on....OH and don't get me started on that hussie nun. I would have beat her from the get go.

haha, point taken!
Do you watch Heroes by chance? If not, you should. Adrian plays one of the main characters. Great show.

Nope. I saw his pic in EW mag I think. I heard something about "Save the Cheerleader" and I wanted to barf. I heard Ali Larter kicks butt too.
I usually buy DVD series instead of watching on tv. I have all the Sex & the City, Nip/Tuck, and Housewivs series. I am thinking of getting the Sopranos and Dexter next.
I also have a ton of comedies like Simpsons, Dave Chapelle, and Adult Swim cartoons.

Heroes is good, it moves so slow tho. if i'd originally known it was a NBC show when i started watching it on Sci-fi Channel i never would've given it a chance tho.

Yeah I am digging Heroes a lot, it's my second fave TV show. My first is Prison Break. Anyone here watch that?
Molly, you should check out Heroes sometime, there is a good chance you'll really dig it. It's the Twin Peaks of superhero shows. Don't let the whole cheerleader thing throw you off....she's not an annoying character. She heals from her wounds and she can't die...in the first few episodes we see her trying to kill herself while she videotapes it. And Ali is good in it as well!
As for Dexter, I don't have Showtime so I can't watch that, but I would love to. I read both of the books and they are a blast. Dexter is a very funny character, I love his pathology and self-referential humor. It's good stuff!
Do you watch The Shield?

Johnny, I usually avoid any drama that takes place in a Hospital, Police Station, ER, Courtroom, or Law Office. For some reason, there are about 5 shows of each type on at any given time. It hurts my head. I want something original.
