Man, Hatchet was soooo much better. It had Bud from the Cosby Show, eh, eh, cooooommmme ooooonnnnn. The kills were cool, the monster was cool, the Asian tour guide was awesome, the stoopid sluts...the boobs both good, the gator attack scene, Tony Todd's retarded performance, "be careful on the sidewalk!'...uh, there is more I just can't think of it now. I didn't think it was boring at all. The characters in Laid To Rest were boring and bad...Intruder for example, is so bad it was genius, but Laid To Rest is so bad its boring.

I was reading on another board a blurb that someone wrote, and it said that the plot of Laid To Rest becomes more apparent with repeated viewings. Something about Chromeskull being a crazy doctor, that stalks and kills sluts or something, it's too bad that they didn't make it more apparent.

Yeah, but that borders on the so bad that it's almost good. I mean, when the three marsupial werewolves crash the party in nun outfits it's pert near B-movie gold.

Monsturd....I don't know if anyone here has seen this film, but i'll explain it for those who have'nt. A man (Jason Schmidt) escapes from prison and hides in the sewers. He falls into a chemical that rebuilds his molecular structure. Basically he becomes a walking talking SHIT MONSTER. Hence the name "Monsturd". He attacks people by crawling out of they're toilet and eating them....leaving behind such clever one liners as "don't get caught with your pants down" and "eat shit" smeared on the wall in feces. I would'nt say it's the worst....but it is rather shitty

The old dude with the cane, Tucker was pretty much a badass. The girl who doesn't know who she is, although not all that original, waaaaaay more interesting than a bunch of drunk college kids wanting to go on a swamp tour. I dunno... I just found the cast to be more interesting. Hatchet DOES pick up when the monster shows up to own those old people, and that was fucking RAD. Hatchet's ending was kind of like.. whatever. I dunno. I don't really see the point in picking them apart. I just enjoyed Laid to Rest more than Hatchet.
