I was talking to my boyfriend Foo from Horror Movie Fans about  TCM 3D, and he reminded me of the radio show we did where we discussed all the TMC movies. He also pointed out that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the most remade movies ever! Check out how wacky the franchise is if you put the movies in order by continuity.

TCM Franchise wiki --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Texas_Chainsaw_Massacre_(franchise)

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) Takes place in 1969, explores the roots of Leatherface's family and delves into their past.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Remake, 2003)

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D (2004) Takes place right after the events of the first movie.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) Set thirteen years after the events of the first film.

Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990) New Line reboots the franchise and tries to turn it into a slasher series like the Elm Street films  -- basically a failed remake.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994) Takes place twenty-three years after the original film.
