"he played a big part in developing my young mind"-Larry
Thank you for proving my point that King's work belongs in the Young Adult Fiction section

linnea quigley played a big part of developing my young mind... I don't care what Mr. T-Bagz says...Linnea rocks. Any chick that dances while throwin' around 2 chainsaws is tops in my book. And as far as King developing my young mind...it doesn't matter who you read when you're a kid, as long as you understand it, they'll develop your mind. Who in your opinion is an exceptional horror author Mr. Bagz? Do you think Richard Matheson's work is young adult too? What about Jack Ketchum? Edward Lee? Huh, huh...who do you think is good Mr. Bagz, who? Dean Koontz....hhhmmm Koontz, yeah.

Who is this guy who wrote the review for "The Mist"? I haven't seen the flick so I can't comment on it, but my oh my this guys statements boggle my mind.
I'm a big fan of KIng and seeing his derogatory statements about this brilliant author annoys the shit out of me.
Maybe this guy is an aspiring writer and some green thing is rearing it's ugly head.
That's all I can think of.
BTW; I'm 55 and have been reading King since my 20's. So before this "professional critic" spouts off about the mentality of King's readers, maybe he should re-read some of Kings works, (if he's actually read any).

Linnea Quigley's had what I call "meth face" since I first saw her in "Return of the Living Dead." Not an attractive woman in any sense and a terrible actress. As far as horror writers go I'm not a big fan of any of 'em. They're either to gothic and fruity (Hamilton, Rice), bland and uneventful (Matheson), too over the top for the sake of shock (Lee), or just plain old crap (Koontz, King) I haven't given Ketchum a try but I'll probably read "The Girl Next Door" before I watch the flick.

Stephen king is the King of horror and should never be critisized ever, he has made the horror industry what it is today. The Mist was fucking amazing!, the book and the movie both blew me away, everyone has got to see this flick.
