Everyone I talk to keeps telling me to watch Deathnote.  i'm not a huge anime guy, but everyone swears up and down I'll dig it.

3 Years ago I hated all anime. Then right around the time Death Note came out, I saw a custom subbed jap tv rip, and I fell in love! The show is great! Since then I've found other anime that I like, but to me nothing compares to Death Note. I'm sorta pissed that they've been showing it on Adult Swim now all the emo fags in my school like it.
Here's my list of good anime:
Death Note
Ergo Proxy
Serial Experiments Lain (i hate the animation, but I like what it's about)
Texhnolyze (like Serial Experiments Lain, but more straight forward and cooler animation)

Been wanting to see Deadbeat at Dawn for a while, finally got my copy today  Smiley

Outlaw Star is the BEST cartoon ever.  Check it out.  It might possibly make that list.

Eh, I just googled it, and I think even if I liked the story, I'd still dislike it just because of the animation  Undecided

John Russo's Midnight  -probably the best movie he has ever made, and unfortunately...that ain't saying much.  Dammit, he is such a nice person, I've met him several times at conventions.  He has definitely done some great screenplays and books though...Night of the Living Dead and Return of the Living Dead being the big ones!  He is currently in production of Escape of the Living Dead. Hhhhmmmmmm?
