Netflix Review: Black Scorpion - Harry Rayhausen

I actaully started to rewatch those old school monster flicks with stop motion. at least the ones that i missed as a kid. obviously i had seen clash of the titans and king kong, etc. but then i found this one finally made it on DVD. its sort of like the movie THEM, where radioactive ants get big and kill people in the desert. this one has scorpions that are huge and kill people in the desert. wow what a stretch. but i enjoyed anyway. with a glass of makers. if there are any fans of stop motion i definetely recommend to see it if you haven't already.

actaully Wil thats what i was going to write about next. i looked up the Roger Corman one and saw that there was two versions - the one you r thinking about and the one with actual scorpions in it.
the roger corman was cool. i think it came out at the same time as Batman so it kinda crossed paths at some point with similarities. did she have superpowers or was she just really tough and knew karate.
anyway i am going to rewatch the sequal "Aftershock soon. so i'lllet you know how what i think about that one next.

Yeah she gets her powers from a scorpian fom what I remember. Murder will know more...I hink there are three of them actually and they are all available from Netflix your favorite place to get movies from

no, she was a cop who decided to work around the law. haunted by her dad's telling her the scorpian and the frog fable she became a vigalante. she wired her tazor to a crackerjack scorpian ring to blast criminals. there was 2 movies with Joan Severance.. i think perhaps the only 2 movies she DIDN'T get naked in... (oh wait.. she stayed clothed in that Hulk Hogan movie with Zues) they were great because her and the super-villians wore high heels, so the chase scenes were funny. they weren't silly enough to entertain most people though.. they dropped the ball not having nudity.

then years later there was a Sci-fi Channel show that didn't last long.
