Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($29.98) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of Let Me In for February 1st. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Matt Reeves, featurettes ("From The Inside: A Look at the Making of Let Me In", "The Art of Special Effects"), unrated deleted scenes, a Car Crash Sequence Step-by-Step, trailers, and a poster gallery. The Blu-ray release will also include a Dissecting Let Me In feature, and a digital copy of the film.

Why does this cost ten more dollars than a normal DVD?  Also... fuck this.  I'm not even going to support this nonsense by renting it.  Let the Right One In was a solid movie, and there was no real reason to remake it.

DVDs are always around $20 when they first come out. I don't consider American versions of a foreign movie remakes. This is something that has been going on forever, and sometimes the American version is better -- not always but sometimes (ex. The Ring). I just read the book and I'm curious to see how an American writer and director envisioned it.

Movie was pretty good, but no where near "The best American horror film in the last 20 years" as Stephen King suggests.

It says it's 30 bucks on that ad dood.  A remake's a remake.  Americans just can't fucking read.
