IFC Midnight and MPI Media Group has announced DVD and Blu-ray releases of The Human Centipede for October 5th. Written and directed by Tom Six, the film is a truly one-of-a kind horror film about a mad scientist who achieves his sick lifetime fantasy of creating a human centipede. Entertainment Weekly wondered if this may be “the most disgusting horror movie of all time?” Extra material will include an audio commentary with director Tom Six, a deleted scene, a making of featurette, alternate posters, and the trailer.

It's the kind of film that while you're watching it you're like, "I can't believe I'm watching this," but later when you tell people about it you can't help but laugh. It's kind of an empty film, would've liked a better ending, I mean I get what they were going for, but for me, the way this movie ended, it's just kinda cliche to me now. Can't horror movies think of another way to end their movies? It's not rewarding to sit through, which would've saved the movie. But if you're into seeing the strangest of the strange and the weirdest of the weird, well....you've probably seen it already.
I am actually glad I watched it though, just to say I have.
