Not sure if this is the correct place to post this. But noticed that Best Buy has the 7 Horrorfest DVD's on sale for 2 for $25 or all 7 for $60.

I'm gonna rent them before I buy them. I have Gravedancers, Unrest and The Hamiltons coming to me first. The Gravedancers is the one I was really looking forward to since I'm a big fan of the director.

Gravedancers was ok, Dark Ride was a very, very big missed opurtunity and Abandoned sucked balls but that did not come out on DVD.

I figure that they come out to just over $8 a piece and if I don't like them, I'll trade them in at Blockbuster or Hastings. Then I can write off the difference as the cost of a rental.

I saw a couple movies at Horrorfest and the one I really wanted to see was Gravedancers but NOOOOOOO I had to go on family vacation!  I rented it last night from Blockbuster and I am gonna watch it after work today. If you get THe Hamiltons soon let me know how it is Blasphemer. |

I have to say that I really enjoyed Penny Dreadful, and Wicked Little Things was pretty good too...but I haven't seen any of the others. Man, alot of people in the theater left during Penny Dreadful, either they just couldn't take it, or they hated it that much. I thought it was a rather clever little film though. It will probably appeal to the Richard Laymon fans out there.  |
