It's not Hardcore. I don't remember a guy in a cowboy hat in that movie, and if George C. Scott was her brother he would be a MUCH older brother. Like 40 years older.

These are the ones I only remember fragments from and rent/buy tons of shit looking for it. I don't think it is Hardcore but Netflixed it just in case. |

If you folks don't mind, I'm gonna intervene with one of my own, just because it's bugged me for years and years now, and despite repeated searches on the internet, I've not been able to come up with anything.
Now, I'm not sure if it's a movie or an episode of a TV show, such as Tales from the Darkside, but I do remember it being in color, and it probably dates between the early 80s and no later than the mid 90s.
I remember a scene with a man and an elderly woman who is on her deathbed (I'm assuming it's mother and son). From what I recall, the woman must have wanted some kind of vengeance from the man, perhaps he wanted her dead for inheritance, etc. And so sometime after her death, he finds her face fused to the palm of his hand, where she now resides. Those are all the fragmented details I remember.
Any help will be much, much appreciated.

I don't know what year it is from of course, but I'm going to guess I saw it in the 80s on cable. It involved a young girl who ends up in some city, she gets wrapped up with some dodgy pimps and they string her out on drugs and prostitute her. Her brother who is, I'm guessing, from the south and he comes to find her. I'm pretty sure he wears a cowboy hat and he has to fight pimps and drug dealers to rescue his sister.
Sounds similar to a movie called The Cowboy Way. |

That does sound like it but it can't be the movie I'm looking for. I don't remember it being a comedy, but sleazy. Fuck I will watch it anyway. You never know how my fucked up brain could change a Woody Harrelson movie to make it better in my mind.
