I have a question about a movie title and after one of you great people answers solves it for me, this could be the official HELP Identify This Movie! thread.
There was a film I have been looking for years; all I remember is it involved something like kung-fu/gymnastics and at the end the main guy has to escape this city full of crazy old people. For some odd reason Entertainment Weekly randomly reported that it was being released on DVD, and I was so excited but never ordered it. Now I forgot the fucking name again -- god damn drugs and Jim Beam really do kill brain cells kiddies.

I may be on the right track or I may be derailed like any Amtrak train, BUT I found this company and their website called Celestial Pictures. They started releasing all the Shaw Brothers films on dvd, they have a huge back catalogue which you can search through. The main character is white. This is not some-like asian kung-fu movie, it was an American made movie. I would guess decade 80s or very early 90s.

Gymkata was my guess, but when he mentioned a town full of crazy old people, I don't remember that in Gymkata.

I don't know what year it is from of course, but I'm going to guess I saw it in the 80s on cable. It involved a young girl who ends up in some city, she gets wrapped up with some dodgy pimps and they string her out on drugs and prostitute her. Her brother who is, I'm guessing, from the south and he comes to find her. I'm pretty sure he wears a cowboy hat and he has to fight pimps and drug dealers to rescue his sister.
